In a unexpected crossover event that defies traditional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Revealed

According to the authorized statement, "A mysterious confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where rumors of banned rituals and terrifying changes resonate through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden sect.

The adventure centers on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Changes

The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Extra Content

Players who successfully complete the mission will acquire an exclusive katana alongside several artifacts secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

• Mikasa attire for Naoe

Latest Free Story Addition

This patch also adds the game's latest no-cost story addition, titled "The Mystery."
